About

Thomas Underhill holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he also graduated with a Certificate in Global Legal Studies with special coursework in mediation and representation in a global context. Thomas has spent 25 years mediating disputes in a variety of professional and education settings. He has led multi-national organizations where he has mediated substantial disputes between parties, including in the realm of mergers & acquisitions, contracts, intellectual property, employment, employee relationships, and more. He has also mediated disputes in the family law and landlord-tenant realms. With domain expertise in business, intellectual property, technology, elections, and education from his 25+ years of professional experience and a diverse background encompassing many different domains, Thomas is able to understand complex issues that come up in mediation. He has a technical background as a software engineer and architect, and has a patent in election security technologies, so he can understand extremely complex issues and help facilitate resolution. Thomas can also be an expert witness in technical matters, particularly software.

 

Thomas has completed the Colorado Bar Association’s 40-Hour Mediation training. He conducts mediation via Zoom. Thomas is not an attorney and does not practice law. If you need advice, you need an attorney.
