Tracy is a mediator and an attorney, having practiced law for 38 years.
She has mediated through programs serving the courts and also is privately retained. She is a Contract Mediator with the Colorado Office of Dispute Resolution and a Mediator with The Mediation Association of Colorado.
Areas of her mediation practice include:
Family law (dissolution issues, parental responsibilities, visitation, support).
Probate issues (guardianship, conservatorship, protective orders, decedent’s estate, trust estates).
Contracts, construction and landlord-tenant issues.
Homeowners’ Association disputes.
Tracy is a licensed, retired civil trial attorney practicing in both public (Office of the Colorado Attorney General) and private sectors for 38 years. She advocated for her clients in state and federal courts, serving in over 1,000 cases as an attorney, a Guardian ad Litem and a Child and Family Investigator, including in marriage dissolution and child protective proceedings, guardianships, conservatorships, decedent’s estate administration, trust estate matters, employment and mental health cases.
Tracy’s community service has included providing legal services to parties representing themselves or unable to pay fees. She has been appointed to city, county and state boards, committees and task forces. While active in Denver, Arapahoe County and Colorado Bar Associations she chaired and served on many committees. She presented accredited continuing education programs for Colorado attorneys on guardianship topics and served as a judge for DECA state and regional competitions and as a professional mentor for high school students.
Tracy graduated from Colorado College (BA, With Honors) and University of Denver College of Law (JD). She decided to remain in Colorado, her native state, to practice law and raise her family.
Some of Tracy’s favorite activities are Colorado seasonal sports, hiking, scuba diving, urban farming, equestrian and arts related activities.
