This position plays a key role in the introduction and evolution of centrally-created, unit/individual led curricula in CDPS. With the guidance of CDPS leaders, this position will identify key leadership strategies and skills and will create messages and learning modules that are centrally standardized but deployed on a team and/or individual level largely using the Department’s learning management system. As the lead staff member for the current Leadership Strategies Institute (LSI) and any complementary and/or successor programs, this position is responsible for all aspects of planning and executing a standardized leadership development program internal to CDPS, including working with leadership and peers to assess and refine the format of the program, creating clear learning objectives for the LSI, designing ongoing and periodic data collection mechanisms to evaluate the program’s impact, developing a standardized and research-based curriculum, and utilizing the LSI budget in a cost-effective manner that aligns the delivery of the LSI curriculum with the expectations of executive leadership. This position must create and maintain collaborative relationships across CDPS and critical partner departments such as DPA to further employee growth and development.
