Barbara Askenazi has been a licensed attorney in Colorado for over twenty years. She has experience mediating for the Denver Small Claims court, the City of Fort Collins Mediation Services and the Better Business Bureau, where she mediates cases for the Great West & Pacific Region.

Ms. Askenazi earned both her undergraduate degree in International Affairs and her law degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

After retiring from appellate practice, Ms. Askenazi has spent the past twenty years starting several home-based businesses and has become a product inventor. She recently became trained as a mediator and enjoys the practice because it empowers her clients to determine the outcomes of their conflicts. Helping parties resolve their disputes is very satisfying, especially when they leave the mediation in mutually friendly terms.

Ms. Askenazi’s practice is exclusively via Zoom.
