Ms Zimmerman earned a BSW with an emphasis in Criminal Justice from the University of Wy in 1996. She enjoyed a 15 yr career as a Mental Health Therapist working primarily with children and families in the foster care system, specializing in behavior disorders, addictions, and parenting. She began a part time private practice in 2009 and co-founded Casper Family Connections, a non- profit supervised Visitation Center in Casper Wy. in 2010. CFC serves families navigating high conflict divorces, abuse and neglect accusations, and the foster care system. CFC also provides Mental Health Therapy and safe exchanges.

Ms Zimmerman has also owned and operated E&F Towing and Transportation Companies in Casper, Wy with her son since 2009. She sits on the Wyoming State Towing Dispute Resolution Board (2018 to present) and has served on the Board of directors for The Boys and Girls Club of Central Wy (1998-2013, 2018-present) where she has served as Board Memeber, Treasurer and was on the Endowment Board. She served on the board of CASA of Natrona County, and after as an advocate for 2 years before moving to CO.

Ms Zimmerman is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Zimmerman Family Foundation and secretary of Zimmerman Financial Admin and Mgmt, Casper WY. Member of the John Templeton Foundation, PA USA, Templeton World Charities Foundation, Nassau Bahamas, and serves on the board of Advisors for the Templeton Religion Trust, Nassau Bahamas.
