I was born in and am originally from Washington D.C.. I grew up as a military dependent and attended nine different schools (which included four different high schools). My family lived in various places in the United States and Korea.
Also, I attended four different colleges and graduated from St. Mary’s of Texas (in San Antonio, Texas) where I wasl commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Quartermaster Corps.
I was in the Army for 19 years and during that time commanded the largest company-sized unit outside the United States. I was assigned to Virginia, Texas New Jersey, Gemany (twice), and California.
After I retired from the Army I worked in Contract Administration positions. Additionally I went to law school and during that time formed a national constitutional challenge to the Uniformed Services Former Spouses Protection Act. In 2011 I became licensed as an attorney in Colorado. Since 2012, I have been working in contracts for a defense contractor. Also, I am the President of the Goldenwest Chapter, Military Officers Association of Ameica,
I am familar with litigation since court actions in my own divorce has spanned over 23 years. Thus, I am very aware how important being involved in a court case is for individuals. My expertise is in military retirement and divorce matters.
I have over 60 years of experience involving or being connected to life in the Armed Forces.
