We thank our colleague and mediator from Belgium Lisabeth Veerle for her help in organizing this training for Ukrainian mediators.
Noam Levi Morchy will conduct 3 webinars of 90 minutes each:
1st webinar – May 31, 2022 from 19.00-20.30 Belgian time (20.00-21.30 Kyiv time)
2nd webinar – June 03, 2022 from 19.00-20.30 Belgian time (20.00-21.30 Kyiv time)
3rd webinar – June 07, 2022 from 19.00-20.30 Belgian time (20.00-21.30 Kyiv time)
These webinars will focus on the topic: “Eastern philosophy in tactical negotiations and mediation”.
Eastern philosophy is deductive school of thought that equips us with simple, useful rules for the analysis of personal interaction. Applying these rules in conflict situations yields a simple, universal method for conveying a constructive and deescalating message.
Noam Levi Morchy, served for 7 years in the Special Forces “Sayeret Matkal”, undercover agent “Mistaarev” and a front-line negotiator for the IDF’s Crisis Solution Team. Working for 15+ years with the Israeli General Security Service “Shabak” he has trained dozens of field officers in engaging and influencing hostiles. He later translated this experience into an original course, “Negotiation in the Arab World” which he taught in Reichman University (IDC). Noam is a graduate of the Tel-Aviv University Lautman Program for outstanding students (M.Sc. cum laude) and is also a licensed Chinese Medicine practitioner.
Currently he is leading an initiative aimed at equipping American Jews with practical, effective tools for facing Antisemitism and Antizionism.
