The following are comments from students that attended recent basic trainings via Zoom:
“This course exceeded my expectations. I was hesitant to do it via Zoom but now believe it was the best thing I could do. I learned so much about how mediation work now a days on Zoom. I would have missed that had I done it in person.” Elizabeth Salinas-Van Orman, Attorney
“I know how much goes into these trainings and everyone did a fantastic job. The trainers remained energetic and focused throughout the week. Given that this was all on Zoom, the quality was even more impressive. You all handled the technical challenges so well.” Lane Volpe, Attorney
“Zoom trainings are tough to make this valuable. It was just more excellent than I could have ever understood. I am really excited about everything I learned this week in the mediation class. I am so impressed with how the class went.” Jennifer Gessert LPC
“Both presenters are very talented and convey information in a clear manner. Following along, even via Zoom, is a breeze. I’m able to take notes, highlight, and draw diagrams from the slides that all helped my understanding of the course content.” Matt Harutun
This comprehensive and hands-on course includes: parenting plans (child support, allocation of parenting responsibilities, decision making, parenting time), division of assets and debts; taxes; maintenance; marriage dissolution legal process, procedures and forms; financial and tax ramifications. The content emphasizes the Collaborative, Facilitative, Interest-Based Model. Phoenix Strategies is a private school approved and regulated by Colorado Dept. of Higher Education. Here are some quotes from previous students: “I really liked my two trainers… It was very evident that they know their stuff! They are such skilled, natural mediators. I also really appreciated the in-depth roleplays that we did… Although intense, they were very educational. I left training feeling confident and ready to launch my private practice. I highly recommend PSI as a training organization.” (Heideh Kabir)
I took a Divorce Mediation Course with these gals. Couldn’t have had a more positive experience. The course content was rich and informative, while experiential learning exercises allowed for theongoing enhancement of my practical mediation skills. I felt very competent after finishing thiscourse. Multiple thumbs up! (Julia Olson MA,LPCC, Colorado Child & Family Investigation)
