10:15 – 11:30 Mediating and Managing Conflict Cross-Culturally Discover how culture influences behaviors; values/ethics; and communication styles. Practice engaging people from diverse back- grounds with cultural competence. (Pamala Campbell, MS, is a national public speaker, providing consultation, mediation and education for individuals, families, and organizations in cross-cultural awareness/sensitivity/competency; conflict management; marriage/family dynamics; and domestic violence and sexual assault).

11:30-12:30 Lunch followed by book drawings for Why Won't You Apologize by Harriet Lerner

12:45-2:00 “Stuck in the Muck” This workshop is based on the book, Why Won't You Apologize by Harriet Lerner. Receive tips on how to work with individuals who resist accepting responsibility. Learn how to re-build trust. (Kristen Noble, MA, Program Manager of the Conflict Resolution Institute at University of Denver, and Shelby Demby, BA, former Conflict Center Director of Restorative Practices, are Restorative Justice specialists and consultants).

2:15 -3:30 “Walking Along Side”- Conflict Coaching - Learn how to use coaching to assist groups and individuals to resolve conflicts and achieve personal desired results. Experience an interactive skill-building exercise to help you assist others to achieve “their” goals. (Lorna Rein, MBA, PCC and mediator has 13 years of experience consulting in the public and private sector. She works with Fortune 100, domestic and international, companies to include Wells Fargo and Merrill Lynch).
