COME ONE COME ALL TO THE 40 HOUR BASIC MEDIATION TRAINING BEING HELD ON APRIL 19, 20, 21, (WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY) AND THEN APRIL 24, AND 25, 2017 (MONDAY AND TUESDAY). CLE and MAC Approved.
This course is open to anyone who is interested in becoming a professional mediator or someone who is interested in gaining the skills necessary to become proficient at resolving conflict with co-workers, supervisors, family and/or friends.
Some of the topics to be covered include the following: 1) steps to the Facilitative Mediation Model or style of mediation; 2) learning how to break impasse by learning communication and negotiation techniques to be used in a conflict setting; 3) standards of professional conduct, 4) how and when to caucus and much more. We will be engaging in lots of group exercises including role plays.
