Gabriela Stear, Esq., established South Denver Conflict Solutions, LLC after years of legal practice, both in Florida and Colorado. A 2002 graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, Gabriela switched from litigation to mediation after witnessing first-hand how families and relationships break down through the aggressive and adversarial court process. As a former criminal prosecutor, Gabriela has extensive experience working with victims and families involved in domestic violence. She also works with Community Mediation Concepts mediating for the City of Denver in employment matters, officer/ citizen conflicts, neighbor-to-neighbor disputes, and animal protection issues.
Most recently in 2017, Gabriela accepted a contract with the Office of the Child Representative to be a Court appointed Guardian ad Litem- a representative for the best interests of the children involved in both dependency/neglect cases, as well as juvenile delinquency cases in Arapahoe County. This position only affirms Gabriela's commitment to putting kids first in all domestic relations mediations.
