During this Sneak Peek, you can see the format/structure of the website but many of the links are not yet active while we update content. However, both the calendar and the Find-A-Mediator tools are active and reflect real data. these will be actively engaged to provide demos and will be amongst the first capabilities redirected from the old site to this new one.
If you have comments/suggestions, please leave them on this page and we’ll use them as feedback before the site goes more publicly live.

I LOVE the site~I would suggest, however, that we change the location of the Find-A-Mediator to the top center and make it more prominent and place the upcoming events in a column on the right instead. I believe our best marketing tool is our find-a-mediator option and we need to showcase that the most. Just my 2 cents…….Thanks for the hard work!
Kim
thanks for the input… we can switch the sidebar over to the left-side which would make the tool the first thing seen when reading left-to-right. we moved it to the right to avoid seeing the logo in the banner then again immediately below it. Hopefully, others will give their opinion during this Sneak Peek.
I agree with centering “Find a mediator.” Didn’t find myself under 80113 (business & health care); thought I was paid up for professional status?
thanks for checking in on the site…this is precisely why we want to do the Sneak Peek to catch any “gotchas” that might exist. In your case, there’s a flag for your paperwork — have you updated your 2011 Continuing Education paperwork? it may be a glitch in the transfer of data. I’ll also send you email to work through this. If you’re logged-in, you can see your status on the My membership eligibility page.
I agree with Kim and Myra. The Find-A-Mediator tool is our most impressive and prominent feature.
Great work, David & Heather! You Two Rock!
Still need the Organization Page re-arranged.
Thanks.
Looks great! Very easy to read and user-friendly. Another suggestion would be to alphabetize the specialty areas so that they are quick to find.
Also, would it be possible to add faith conciliation and restorative justice to specialty areas?
I’ll add alphabetizing to my To-Do list… I’ll forward the request to add the other two items to our board for consideration.
I don’t remember this request coming to the board or did I forget that conversation?
Hello, unable to click on the quick links and email addresses under event listings. it may be my PC.
True observation, the only Quick Link item that has been activated at this time is the one to this website feedback – others will go live this month. As for the calendar items, the tool does not make the email addresses “click-able”. knowing this is of interest, however, I’ll add it to the to-do list to see if it’s possible to change that.
Thanks for the feedback
David:
I am unable to getinto the board page. We just got in a professional application but I either am unable to find it elsewhere or it’s in the board tab that is currently blocked.

Resolved. See your 4/13 email.
The website is certainly impressive. Nice work, David!
Here are a few observations:
I didn’t find myself listed in find a mediator.
It appears that I need a user name and password to update data. Do I already have one and not know of it?
Love the Conflict Resolution Month link – thanks! Is it possible to use our logo?
What is the best way to include Conflict Resolution Month in Volunteer Opportunities? What do you need from us?
When people are mentioned in an article, is it possible for readers to reach those individuals with a link?
Did I miss the place to find a mediator by name?
Did anyone else mention that it seemed to take a long time to get from one page to the next? That was my experience.
Again congratulations on all the improvements. theMAC is looking great.
Thanks for the input. I’ve sent you an email.
I can’t find the Code of Conduct on the website. Where is it? How will potential clients find it?
Thanks
Beth,
Here you go.

In the find a mediator link, it has areas of conflict/specialty, but on the profile page, it does not appear to allow us to list any area of specialty. How does it connect the two? Also, it does not appear that we can list any professional experience information nor links to our websites. Am I missing it somewhere?
Steve: there are specific reasons for the disconnect for your account. I will send you email. For others, these fields should be readily available when they successfully login.
I just uploaded by continuing education on the site. At the bottom of the form it asks for total number of hours. I would suggest this be changed to Number of General Credits and another entry for Ethics Credits. If you attend a CLE course this is the information on the form given to those who complete it. It would be easier for attorneys as well as those of us who do attend these trainings to upload correct information. Right now we don’t specifically require ethics credits separate from general credits but I think we should discuss this. Other states do require mediators to have both each year.
Thanks.
On the “Volunteer Opportunities” page, the website address for the Fort Collins Community Mediation program should be http://www.fcgov.COM/mediation/
Thanks for input. Corrected.
